Simon McKay founded Creative Lighting Concepts through a passion for lighting and a desire to 'paint with light', to push the boundaries on how contemporary lighting was being done.

This urge was fuelled by a concrete foundation of lighting techniques developed from an early age through working within his family's successful TV and film lighting company on a large number of sets across Australia.

Simon's career led him to become an electrician, then an electrical contractor specialising in the latest technology LED and fibre optic lighting systems, designing and supplying lighting for clients such as the multi award winning designer Chris Clout, Sir Richard Branson, The Oaks Resort Group, Kookai Australia and a multitude od superyachts for Warren Yachts, Riviera Marine, Azzura Marine and Hanseatic Marine.

Creative Lighting Concepts is available for lighting consultation using the latest AutoCAD and Revit architectural design programs to create truely inspirational lighting for your next project.
